When I founded Peoples Income Tax in 1987 after working for 19+ years for H&R Block, I decided to start my own Income Tax School to recruit and train tax preparers. We offer tax courses for a modest price to cover the cost of books and materials. After observing the students during the 10-week course, we hire the top graduates. Both Jackson Hewitt and Liberty Tax outsourced their tax course curriculum to us during their early years of operation before developing their own tax schools. We provide our tax school system to hundreds of independent tax businesses nationwide that use this best practice.
